As an athlete, Maryann was one of the few women to complete the inaugural Eco-Challenge adventure race, has logged 650 skydives, is a certified SCUBA diver, experienced ocean whitewater kayaker, and avid hiker and climber. Certified in personal training by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), she has also earned honors as a gymnast and bodybuilder.
