Maryann Karinch

I wrote many of the 17 books featured on this site with experts in various fields: risk-taking, interrogation, sleep, motivation, fitness, pain control, business systems, intelligence gathering. When I describe this body of work, I usually use the phrase "human behavior" and emphasize that the books offer concepts and insights to help you upgrade some aspect of your life.

My co-authors and I, as well as the many contributors to these books, want to share information with you that you can rely on. We give you specific answers to specific problems such as, "How can I tell if someone is lying to me?" "What can I do if my child doesn't care about school?" "How can I energize my employees?"

All of my co-authors and I also enjoy bringing our expertise to your companies and organizations.

If you have any questions about my books, presentations, or consulting, just put them in an email to me.

And if you would like to buy any of these books, you can find most of them easily at online and on-the-street bookstores. If you have any problem getting the book you want, email me and I'll make sure you get it!

These 2009-2010 releases were done in collaboration with Jim McCormick, Peter Earnest, and Ron Kotler, respectively. Jim is expert on intelligent risk-taking (www.takerisks.com). Peter is Executive Director of the International Spy Museum. Ron is Medical Director of the Pennsylvania Hospital Sleep Disorders Center.
As a former competitive athlete and American Council on Exercise-certified personal trainer, I have a sincere interest in supporting your health and fitness--and wanting you to enjoy the process. Collaborating with Patrick ("Sarge") Avon, was beyond fun!

If you have problems getting your team moving at work, get some powerful Ranger advice from Dean Hohl, founder of Leading Concepts. And if you have problems getting your kids moving, let Peter Spevak help you as he has helped more than 2,000 kids at the Center for Applied Motivation.

Greg Hartley and I collaborated on these six books on Extreme Interpersonal Skills (Greg coined that phrase, so be sure to give him credit if you use it, please). His website is www.mindatwar.com. You will enjoy it!
This is the latest Greg Hartley-Maryann Karinch book, which is a John Wiley & Sons release, out Feb. 2011.  Visit any of the following sites to purchase the book:
